our instructors

Susan West Hull trained with Moscelyne Larkin and Roman Jasinski of the Ballet Russe. She was a member of Tulsa Ballet, and continued training with Cincinnati College Conservatory of Music, and with New York City Ballet II in Zurich, Switzerland.  Susan studied and performed with Martin Friedmann, Nadia Tikhanova, and Serge Kosadiev at Colorado Ballet, where she was Repetitieur and Instructor.  She studied and performed with Marat Daukayev (Kirov) in Los Angeles. Susan was Artistic Director of Denver Ballet and Director of Denver Ballet School.  An Education major at the University of Oklahoma, she was staff teacher at St. Pius X School.  She is a graduate of Lee Strasburg Theatre Institute, New York and Los Angeles.

Taylor Hull began her ballet training with Moscelyne Larkin Jasinski first performing on a professional stage with Tulsa Ballet. She continued her training with Elisabeth Shipiatsky at Colorado Ballet and Russian Ballet, and with Marat Daukayev in Los Angeles. She received a full scholarship to Bolshoi Ballet in Vail, and was a resident student at the Kirov Academy in Washington, D.C. Taylor performed with Colorado Ballet, and was principal dancer with Russian Ballet, dancing Pas de Quatre, Lilac Fairy, Odette pas de deux, Paquita, and others. She was ballerina with Denver Ballet, dancing favorite roles of Odette/Odille in Swan Lake, Princess Aurora in Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella,, Queen Guinevere in Camelot and Sugar Plum Fairy in Nutcracker. 

 

 

Miss Susan and Miss Taylor return to Tulsa to instruct and inspire dancers in the art and magic of classical ballet.
